Talika Skintelligence Clever Cleanser
If you’re the type of girl who likes a foamy cleanser in the morning, but doesn’t want your skin to feel dry, this light gel is one of my favorites for the colder months. It’s clear and light as water, but very moisturizing. The Skintelligence line is great for sensitive and/or irritated skin. $25.00
Cellular Labs De-Aging Facial Cleanser
Cellular Laboratories De-Aging Facial Cleanser is terrific for gentle makeup removal. It’s always a good idea to clean heavy eye makeup with a cleanser specifically designed for the eyes, but if you’re looking for something that will cleanse light face makeup, powders, and shadow, Cellular is a great non-drying option. I have normal to dry skin in the winter and Cellular works well for me. I really love the De-Aging Day Crème SPF 20 from this line for the winter also. It’s the perfect cushion under makeup. Cellular has marine extracts and is paraben-free. $36.75
Burt’s Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser
OK, who doesn’t love the Burt’s Bees line? One of my favorites is the Orange Essence cleanser. The fragrance is heavenly and the gel has the consistency of honey. You can gently massage the gel onto the skin to loosen makeup or make a thinner texture by adding water. It rinses off well while leaving a veil of softness. $7.00 – $8.00

And For The Body…..
Tree Hut Shea Moisture Body Lotion
All I have to say is Yuuummmmm! I get compliments every time I wear this lotion. I always get the Coconut Lime fragrance, which immediately transports me and “innocent bystanders” to the nearest tropical island. It also comes in Pomegranate Acai, Island Kiwi, and Passion Fruit and Guava. $5.00 – $6.00 at Duane Reade or SHOP.COM/VFS
Souffle of Shea
Shea butter is always great for knees and elbows. I bought this at the Taliah Waajid hair and beauty show. This shea butter recipe is heavenly. It comes in many frangrances. I have MISKIN FANTASY. Check out this company at www.soufleofshea.com. $12.00
Tip Of The Day: Don’t forget, lips still need protection during the winter season. If you usually wear lipstick, keep lips hydrated with a balm, cocoa butter, or vitamin E stick underneath. A lip pumice will also keep dryness and flakes at bay.

What is Trash The Dress? It’s a photo and/or video session that a recent
bride, and sometimes the groom, participate in to show their wedding
attire in a theme that is “out of context” or in contrast to the elegant theme of a lot of weddings. It’s a spin on traditional wedding photos. I did the makeup for a recent “Trash The Dress” photo session (shown below). So fun!!! I used a lot of different makeup lines here. Motives & Nars shadows, Motives blush, Mac foundation, Motives concealers, and powders. Have you had your own “Trash The Dress” photo shoot?

Fall is finally here! Rich colors, beautiful foliage, chunky sweaters and fashionable leathers are all favorites for the season. Bordeaux and Berry, as well as the nudes are all hot this year. Some of my favorites are:
Who doesn’t love a great black liner? It’s a basic that never goes out of style.

I took this picture for a stylist project in Miami Beach. The beautiful colors of nature are
brightened and intensified by the contrast of the model’s citrus colors. Perfect for a new eye color design!
